Is YouTube a Public Utility?
Being a part of the internet but under private jurisdiction, at first glance YouTube does not seem like a public utility...
But can it be considered one?
No, and it shouldn’t be treated as one. Nobody needs YouTube, and the only videos on YouTube that can’t be replaced with blogs are music videos and cat videos.
Why would Youtube be any more of a public utility than any other commercial entity?
