What Should I Do with Broken Solar Panels?
As the title suggests, I used to have solar panels on the roof of my house, which were damaged by hail. The glass on top shattered, but the panels still appear to be in decent condition, with some bumps here and there. I'm wondering what I can do with them besides recycling. Can I repair them? Would that make for an interesting side project? Could I use them for other purposes?
It might be possible to peel out undamaged sections and make smaller panels from them, i suppose? Doubt there's economic utility but as a "maker" project to learn about how the things are made it sounds interesting.
ask the manufacturer/reseller...they know this stuff and might have solutions/offers available that none of us here in HN could know about
