What are your thoughts on the new Google Gemini AI?

I have so little trust in Google that I didn’t even bother reading about it. Few companies have so thoroughly erased my trust in anything they build.

I put it in vscode, to see if it was better than copilot.

10 minutes in I was literally swearing at it, and I don't remember rage-uninstalling something so fast.

I don't particularly like copilot either, but I can work with it.

Chatgpt, despite me only using it through the Web interface, is so much better than both of these, it's scary.

It's pretty terrible especially for programming. I don't how it got good scores on whatever benchmark they did.

Does someone know if you are logged in to all your Google accounts if logging on Gemini AI? That sort of thing prevented me from having a youtube account.
