Will there ever be a universal series streaming service?


I want to be legit and pay for my series and movies. And in fact I am ;)

I don’t even mind paying a considerable amount of money for it each month, to support them etc… but the thing is… first of all you need like 10 different subscriptions of you want most good series around the globe. And even then you need to cheat somehow (eg vpns) to not be geolocked… why? Do they want people to pirate?? I imagine not, but I feel there are no legit options?

I compare that to music where it seems to be a solved problem? I have spotify, apple music and youtube premium. There’s yet music that I have to find that’s not on one if these 3?

Why is this not yet something solved??? Will it ever come?

It used to be like that, when Netflix was alone. That was before the other companies realized that they could grab their own share without Netflix. (Funnily, now that there are that many streaming services, some companies are merging their content back to Netflix slowly...)
