Is there a side project ideas board?

I have a day job and I want to start a side project, but I'm a bit of an introverted person. I looked at a lot of growth and marketing YouTube videos and almost all of them suggest reaching potential customers. A lot times you don't even have the idea and the gurus just suggest that you reach some random people that you know and ask them if they have some pain points in their business. Things get complicated, because If you do, you often get refused that you just want to sell them some app they don't need. So I started to think that maybe some side project ideas board would be great.

Well, I’m not 100% sure what a “side projects ideas board” is so perhaps a brief explanation would help.

I’d also say, who is your audience? If it’s startup CEO types of dev/CTO types then potentially they could use a board with ideas on it to start from. If its end users to get their feedback I doubt any would bother going there… and who would add ideas? What’s their incentive to share their ideas?

I think the best advice if you have an idea is (1) build something that solves a problem you yourself have and (2) despite the fact that “build it and they will come” is wrong, you do need to build some very basic UI if you’re going to talk at all to end users for feedback.
