What are some non-obvious ways you've used ChatGPT to improve your life?

Curious to see how others have leveraged ChatGPT in unique ways to support or enhance their daily routines (beyond the usual coding support etc).

I asked it to interview me with a series of 5-10 questions in an effort to identify what new subjects I might like to learn or hobbies to enjoy. That worked pretty well.

I also asked some vague medical questions, the sort that aren't urgent enough to go to the doctor over, and that was helpful too and led to me making a couple of choices that actually improved my quality of life.

I find it really helpful as a creative writing assistant, too, not to generate text, but side research questions. That's not so unique though.

I'm using it to write short stories where my 3 year old kid is the hero (a custom GPT sets the proper context (name, age, location, interest) so the prompts can be short like "a story about learning to read with a new dragon friend")... and doing so bilingually, with each paragraph available in both languages

I found it is pretty good at generating work-out routines, especially with some conditions. For example "Give me a workout routine I can do at home with minimal equipment and with a sore hamstring" or "Give me a weekly running workout plan to prepare for a 5k, with no long runs"

I told it to make a user persona. I described myself, and told it about things I'm into (youtube channels, forums, blogs etc). It made a full profile.

Then I asked it questions like "where does this person spend time online?" or "what do they enjoy doing in their free time?".

I actually discovered a few new places like this, e.g. r/depthhub

Oh boy, where do I even start. Maybe with this one:

I am preparing for my Kubernetes exam. You are an examiner who asks me questions on Kubernetes and grades my answers, correcting me if necessary. Your each answer should end with the next question for me. Start with the first question.

Mine is a chrome plugin (available on github and store) which sends selected text to chatgpt (with your own predefined prompt) for answers. Use it frequently to understand jargon. Used it today translate a japanese tweet about some new exciting development in speed of stable diffusion.
