Is it better to use GPT-4 directly instead of ChatGPT?

OpenAI itself says "GPT-4 surpasses ChatGPT in its advanced reasoning capabilities." in its GPT-4 page [0]

ChatGPT lets you select between GPT-3.5 and GPT-4, maybe that page is outdated from the time ChatGPT only used GPT-3.5 exclusively?

In any case, the new GPT-4 Turbo with 128k is very interesting and it's not available in ChatGPT yet.

Finally, are there any frontends you would recommend to replace the ChatGPT UI (web/mobile) and use GPT-4 directly? [1]
