Does anyone else struggle to work within limitations?

This is possibly a strange question, so let me explain.

Basically, I find it hard to work with a limited set of tools if I know there are more powerful ones available as alternatives. For instance, I can't really enjoy writing in Markdown because I know I could do anything there in HTML, except without the limitations Markdown imposes.

Same story with the Gemini protocol, video game level editors, etc. If I feel I have more power with another technology, using something that's deliberately limited feels kinda backwards.

Anyone else feel similarly?

Nope. The 'correct' tool for the job. When simple formatting is needed, Markdown works fine. It's even better when someone else has to fix or update your work in the future. Why not take out that pesky mosquito with a MOAB? Same reasoning works for other tools.
