At various times, from the mid-1980s until now, I have regularly bought: Electronics Australia, Electronics Today International, Sonics, Your Computer, Australian Personal Computer, Byte, Doctor Dobbs Journal, Rolling Stone, Wired, Planet, Mondo 2000, The New Yorker, Foreign Affairs, The Diplomat, The Economist, and Quarterly Essay.
I've never subscribed: I liked the process of going to the news agent and collecting the latest issue.
I haven't bought a paper magazine now for years. After I stopped buying regularly, I still used to buy a few to take on vacation, but I don't even bother to do that anymore.
It's a dead medium.
