All LOTR books narrated by Tolkien AI


There are a few great recordings of Tolkien - some interviews and clips of him reading passages from his books.

There are short clips of ai Tolkien reading his works, one was modelled on his interviewee tone which differs from his reading voice/cadence.

What would it take to get a voice model of JRR to narrate his works? Or is this dubious at best?

Getting authors to voice their own books could be an incredible use of voice AI only if the author has a good voice, which many don't. Which is why the voiceover industry exists.

Tolkien is very much an exception. He can read greeting cards and I'd be pumped.
