How did you teach coding to a family member?

What methods did you try? How successful were you?

I don't know anyone who did, maybe that's why nobody commented here?

As a ~15-year-old, I taught a sibling how to do some things in game maker, but can't say that either of us could really code at the end. Gave some tips to another sibling later but they were mostly doing their own thing, wasn't really involved there. Wouldn't really call either thing "teaching to code" let alone using a certain "method"

You don't - they can learn for themselves.

You can answer their queries but they should learn for themselves. You can't instil curiosity where there is none.
