LLM to API

Hi folks, I've been digesting the recent OpenAI updates, but fail to find an easy way to integrate LLMs with an API, such as:

Imagine I have an API that can create, delete, update customers, how do I use an LLM to use those APIs to offer users an interface to give those commands to the prompt and execute those actions?

Is there companies that are more focused in this space?

I hope that soon enough we'll rarely need to build interfaces, just give people a chat.
