"My GPT"s


Have you created "My GPT" instances (https://openai.com/blog/introducing-gpts)?

Please show them! And tell us how you customized them (for example showing the instructions under "Edit GPT").

I have just started to dabble in it, with mixed results.

But I find it really remarkable. First, the split screen with "talking to the GPT model and customizing it" on the left and "previewing how it would answer questions" on the right just feels like programming with words. Like the right side is a debugger with variable watch window.

Second, ChatGPT has started giving me two answers side by side and asking me which one I prefer.

It is crazy how bad the name GPTS is. I see a lot of people struggling to know what to call them and "My GPT's" is as good as any I guess.

I went ahead and created the concept of a gipety (singular) and gipeties (plural). I'll spend the rest of this week trying to popularise those words and see how it goes....

Just started today. I haven't tried them out too much but here's what I've created:

* A Chef that is in a certain style of a cook book I like, and uses the metric system.

* A Flutter expert to assist my development

Are GPTs no deeper than a template for creating wrappers around calls to ChatGPT? Has anyone done anything really unique with them that wouldn't be better with its own UI?
