Would it be worth it to become a junior executive?
After approaching 3 years of experience as a developer I'm starting to ask myself where all of this is going. I heard of people that out of certain degrees like communication or marketing join a company as junior executives and although I am aware that it is a completely different kind of job I'm still wondering if it wouldn't be a possible next step career wise talking. Considering that I got no degree and already have a steady career as a software developer would it be feasible to actually do that? And even given that it's indeed possible, what is the reality behind being a C-suite?

Experienced people (10+ years) routinely return to universities because they need a degree of some kind to advance into management.
Without wanting to be too much of a downer, I doubt that this is a realistic path right now.
