Cloudflare apparently down, but I don't notice


According to their status page and various submissions to HN during the last >= 24 hours, Cloudflare's "brain" is down and this causes lots of trouble.

Yet, I didn't notice any trouble at all. All of the sites I regularly visit load as fast / as slow as ever, I didn't experience any degraded experience at all yet.

What am I missing? I am visiting quite a broad range of sites each day from multiple countries.

From one of their initial status updates:

> "These products are impacted at the control plane / core level, meaning that only the changes to the existing configuration are affected, but the product is functioning at the edge: Magic Transit, Argo Smart Routing, Workers KV, WAF,..."

Most of their products are working 'fine' to the end-user.

It was their control panels and configuration APIs that were down. Already deployed sites and services for the most part were fine.
