Apple TimeMachine for Backups?


I realise there are third party tools for backup on the Mac but are any of you using TimeMachine to a NAS/Disk? If not, what is the thinking?

Yes, to a Synology, and to an external HD, and it works wonderfully.

Also have Backblaze installed, so there's my 3-2-1 backup coverage.

I've used it successfully. My Mac died and I restored the Time Machine backup onto a new Mac perfectly.
