What's the best phone you ever had?
Some weeks ago I broke my Pixel 4a screen. Unfortunately it was already out of the guarantee period, so to repair it I had to pay. However I didn't hesitate to pay for the reparations since this phone is the best I've had from far. It's small enough that can be used comfortably, the camera is good, it's fast, and it was cheap.
Which is the best phone you've ever had? I mean the phone you would pay a big chunk of money to be able to use it again.
Nokia 3310 (from 2002). It was first and foremost incredibly durable, it had a great battery life, it could send and receive texts and did phone calls and was like a perfect communication device. It also had that snake game which was adequate time wasting entertainment.
Now days phones are more like computers than phones. I feel like the calling and texting is more like an after thought. I love my iPhone, but it’s battery life gets worse over time, it’s screen breaks easily, it’s battery can’t be easily replaced, it needs annoying updates regularly, I feel like it’s not as secure in terms of privacy etc etc…
Lumia 930. I really liked Metro UI. Also it was pretty solid device.
Nokia Lumia 520. It was a blessing to have a device with 512 MB of RAM where both OS and apps perform without lags and freezes, UI is accessible and text input doesn't suck.
Nokia 3210 or something alike from that era. You couldn't break that thing even by throwing it at a wall by full force. Nokia Communicator was also nice.
i don't change phones yearly but in 2021 i bought iPhone 13mini, and i am still using it. it is fast and handy, in case something happened to the phone i mean i would pay any amount to get it back together.
