Meeting Invite Spam?


Has anyone else been receiving spam email invites? By that I mean some sales / marketing person from outside your organization sending you an unsolicited invitation to a meeting?

Marketing folks: Does this actually work? Is it worth the potential reputational damage? I would be curious to hear from anyone who has actually run some numbers on it.

It is not worth it. This is because nowadays reputation is everything. If you combine your personal/company brand image with an affiliate campaign, you would have far more determinant results than spamming invitations to meets. As you would have affiliate's validation by suggesting your product/services + your personal brand
