Is there a way to reopen apps after shutdown for Linux like macOS?
i have a desktop computer with pop os installed, is there any application or handmade script that can bring all apps and windows back after reboot the system like the macbooks?
can it be done only use software stuff or specific hardware needed?
Linux is modular, so it depends on the desktop environment (DE) you pick. I know KDE can do this, but I am not sure about PopOS's customized DE.
You can configure hibernation and use it instead.
Linux is designed to run on a wide range of hardware. What you want requires the exact opposite. Even getting hibernate to work may drive you crazy. Learn to love what you have.
specific hardware
Thinkpads are always well supported by Linux. [1]
Everything else is a matter of luck or extensive research...by "extensive" I mean it involves a lot more than reading "Thinkpads"
Good luck.
