Will people in power ever ask why their enemies hate them?
Why is accountability so difficult if not impossible to be used as a solution to end a conflict?
they like the power, but not the responsibilities. If it were so easy, germany wouldn't put 90+ year old people before an judge because of the mass murder of the nazis. After WW2 nobody was with the nazis, even people a few kilometer away "didn't know about the attrocities" they commited in the concentration camps.
