Experience Using Rewind AI?


I am using the 30 day free trial and the functionality seems very good.

re: privacy and security: after reading about the founders, etc. I decided to trust that very little data leaves my devices.

I am considering making Rewind AI part I my permanent workflow, but I am not sure. Any experience and opinions based on other people’s experiences will be appreciated.

Pretty happy with it so far. Mainly using it to recall things i read. Especially nice for looking up things you can’t recall where to search. I remember someone linked about a golang library for ipfs last week, but have no idea who or where (slack, discord, hn, etc). Rewind makes that really easy. Similar to wanting to find an open dropbox ticket i wanted to bump. Instead of searching gmail etc, it was easy to find the page i was looking for.

The less successful part of rewind is the transcripts of meetings. Kind of works for english but does horrible with accents, and omfg other languages are just random words. I’m really looking forward to them improving this.

Overall it’s a solid product that has room to improve. Pricetag is a bit steep but one I’m happy to pay for a local first solution if only it dealt better with voice transcripts and ideally have a better mobile version. (Don’t plan on using safari any time soon)
