Hackers took control of an FB account of freelancer who was helping me run my ads, and ran a "Wine Course" for $21,000.
I'm a small business, and now it's been 177 days and I've been back and forth with meta requesting updates probably 50 separate times.
Finally today they said "Based on our initial investigation, we don’t believe there is evidence to suggest there was a compromise on Business Manager ID...".
I'm at a loss. $21k just gone. Citibank denied my dispute. If you look at my Meta account this is the most obvious hack / steal ever, I can't imagine a judge wouldn't find in my favor.
I don't know what to do. I'm just sad and at a loss. Any advice would be appreciated.
