Is the layoff culture in the USA affecting US professionals?
Professionals in the EU\Canada\Australia have better productivity and produce higher-quality products. Could the layoff culture in the USA be adversely affecting US professionals, resulting in poor quality of work and commitment to their employers?
You care to sight any studies that back up this claim? Having worked with those professionals I don't feel they they generate higher quality products. They most definitely, in general, are much slower and much more bureaucratic. You knew if you were on a project in Canada or EU you were basically going to be going MUCH slower and if things got done no one seemed to care, it was crazy.
