Startup founders, how do you track your cap table and calculate equity?

I'm wondering if anyone has any favorite tools for calculating SAFEs, option pools, priced rounds etc.

Presumably as you are raising capital you need to be able to instantly model out the implications of for example adding a SAFE and its cap and discount.

I'm envisaging a calculator that runs on a phone, perhaps an app?

I heard good things about Carta.

I haven't used it though.
