i personally dislike it solely based on ui taste. more of a slack guy, really. i hate ms teams too. discord is hard to search.havent checked out the new alack ui everyone is talking about though, did you find the new ui worse?

I love it. The way topics are organized into threads is wonderful.I installed every opensource chat system I could find. I was an XMPP fanboy for years and still have a soft spot for it. Zulip is much nicer for users though. It was very easy to integrate into existing platforms. Zulip also supports push notifications if you have mobile users.
