Is your M1 Battery draining significantly faster in last week?
Trying to see if it's only me, or many people.
I used to be able to go through a full day and still have 50% left. Now it's drained at the end of the day.
Do you by any chance live in a place with really high temperatures the past week? London UK for example has been over 30 degrees and both my macbook and iphone batteries last significantly less.
No, my M1 and M2 devices (and my A15) have all been the same as normal.
No, the same. Have 13.5.2 installed on both.
What does your Battery system settings say?
What does the Energy tab in Activity Monitor indicate? Especially the "Energy Impact" and "12 hr Power" columns.
I usually keep it plugged in but when I don't I've noticed the battery has drained faster than I would have expected. That said; the few times lately that I've gone on battery, the drain speed has returned to what I would expect.
Check activity monitor and see if anything is wrong. My wife and my M1 Macbooks had iMessage go haywire a few weeks ago and they started chewing through CPU at 1000% usage.
