Would you need a phone instant messenger with PGP encryption?
I am considering developing an instant chat messaging application that utilizes PGP encryption, possibly as an open-source project. One of the key features would involve enabling key exchange exclusively through in-person interactions, ensuring that keys do not traverse the internet.
Do you think this is needed or would used by someone else?
Why would you use something legacy like PGP? The state of the art is Signal protocol which is TOFU but you can also do in-person verification.
