Is it feasible to move an iMac around your home daily like a laptop?
Anyone try doing this?
One idea would be to install the iMac on an AV-type cart with a UPS underneath. Then you could cart the whole setup around without having to reboot.
You need to define your boundaries of "feasible" more clearly - some of us old farts remember it being "feasible" to drag a full-ATX tower, peripherals, and a CRT display to LAN parties!

Why would you want to reboot your pc so many times?
Depends on what you mean when you say feasible. Can you do it? Sure. Would you want to do it? If so, why?
Really, get a laptop if you're thinking about this. Think about the weekend, power outages, trips...
