Does your team/company keep meeting recordings for future use?

I notice that both impromptu and planned Zoom (etc.) meetings are so good that if recorded they would make a great asset for people who didn’t attend and might be relevant for years after. I wonder if this is something other companies are doing and how they go about it. Do you find it valuable? If you are doing this well how do you manage it?

Are you just using the cloud upload from Zoom, or something more sophisticated?

The second you hit record the vibe on the meeting is different.

Depends on the department or growth stage. My org currently sees it as too much of a liability because of how easy it is for meeting hosts to move the recording outside the org. But if you have a tight group, that’s not a problem.

Yes, we use https://www.pickleai.com and it's great. You don't have to sit in meetings "just in case"; people can just loop you in afterwards and you can skim the transcript or watch on 2x speed.
