Which products have steadily increased in utility for you?


What are the products that've gotten more useful to you month after month, continually?

Here are some for me:

* My Mac and iPhone (I've added more things that I do with them over time)

* Rewind.app (more history to search through)

* Amazon (more products I re-order)

* Spotify (more songs I like)

* GPT (more things I learn to use it for)

What about for you?

For me a lot of the above and many others fall into the category "products that work/society trends put more pressure into me to use even though I'd rather not, or that I'd rather use alternatives but they killed them or they have been actively shittified since".

An obvious one is Windows, doing that since 1995.

A wise guy can get Windows, Office, Server etc. for free and also the software and games installed on Windows also for free.

The combination of free Windows + Torrenting content is a sugar high for the whole world but especially the developing world, for sure there will be a withdrawl syndrome when/if it eventually ends due to better enforcement of copyright laws or countries installing big impenetrable firewalls to circumscript internet access.
