Did you leave Reddit or did it creep back in?
Just using old.reddit.com probably once a day which is a lot less than before. Still holding off from using their app.
I use reddit significantly less now. I'd say ~90% drop in usage considering that I used to access it every single day for multiple topics.
I still go there for certain information, but now I really only look at it maybe once a week. And usually that is exclusive to acquiring game related information.
I was a heavy user of the Sync app, so my mobile usage of reddit has gone from "A lot" to 0.
I barely use it now. Every now and then, out of habit maybe, I visit the website on my phone, scroll for 20 to 30 seconds and then my brain is like - “oh no, I don’t enjoy this anymore.” And I close it. I used it for years. I find it funny how I automatically do this without thinking.
I read it as gauge of what not to think
Content wise it felt less and less relevant to me as time went by, even before the mod hissyfits. After the drama, there’s even less. So it’s my death scroll of last resort now.
I deleted my account, and I avoid any URLs from that domain.
