How do you guys stay motivated when you see competition?
I see competitors building similar products on HN, and I see that they're more ahead of me. Sometimes I find it really hard to stay motivated and build
It means you're on to something anyway. Look at the most sophisticated, entrenched products and look at all the complaints they get. There is always room for competition and you've apparently found a market people are interested in.
Maybe they are pretending they are more advanced than they are, to discourage other people from competing. Or maybe they are really doing it and you should build something else instead.
