Navigating Private Browsing Amidst Google's Shadow

Lately, I've been facing a dilemma when it comes to selecting a web browser.

We're all well aware of the strong influence Google exerts within the Chrome browser, which leads to an ongoing battle for certain features among browsers that are built upon it. Furthermore, there's the complication of Mozilla and Firefox's development trajectory.

My goal is to find a browser that places privacy at the forefront by default. While Brave offers this feature, it's accompanied by an insistence on incorporating cryptocurrency, which might not align with everyone's preferences. On the other hand, Firefox is an option, but it necessitates the management of multiple extensions, introducing another potential weak point in the chain of functionality.

So, the question that lingers is: Which browser truly serves our needs in this complex landscape?

You can disable all the crypto/web3 stuff in Brave's settings. You're not forced to use it.

It's not either/or. You can use multiple different browsers for different purposes.
