Where do you go to chat about your work?

I’ll often have mundane programming questions that are matters of opinion or are otherwise not appropriate for e.g. Stackoverflow. I want to discuss them casually and hear how other people handle things. HN has great comments on programming-related articles, but you have to wait for the right one to pop up to discuss a particular topic. Reddit is more open to questions that are best answered with opinions, but it’s still not all that informal. Work is good for this if you have the right team, but teams can be small and it’s not always appropriate to interrupt someone to just throw ideas around.

Other than work itself, where do you go to “shoot the shit” about work-related topics, unformed project ideas, etc.?
