If a website has no RSS, how do you keep of any updates?

I've been reading more blogs and a lot of them have no RSS, just curious how to keep up to date aside from the ones that offer some sort of email update, which I generally try to avoid.

I have been using urlwatch for diffing various sites with no RSS:https://thp.io/2008/urlwatch/It even has various filters, for eg you can convert to plain text and diff that.
