How to find users (developers, DevOps) for paid market research?

Question

While developing an idea for a side project, I&rsquo;d like to talk to potential users that my service will be targeting. In my case, those users have primarily dev/devops duties.How do folks here / very early startups find people for interviews?I&rsquo;m happy to pay for the interviews ($40 or more for one hour?) but I don&rsquo;t know where to look. I tried running a Reddit ad and posting in a related Discord but so far, no takers.(I&rsquo;m specifically making this Ask about the process of finding users - I&rsquo;m not recruiting people here in a sly way) :) Thanks

Depends on what your budget is. Posts on HN for the area of focus, specifically on threads can be great ways to find people, though might not be the easiest way to do it. Most of the time I just ask former coworkers or ping mailing lists.I'll give you feedback on your process or product if you want.
