Can you apply to YC as a co-founder in two distinct startups?

On the FAQ: Our group has two ideas. Can we submit two applications?

A: We don‘t recommend it. You should pick your favorite idea and apply with that one.

But as an individual co-founder are you allowed to be in two YC startups (with different cofounding teams) at once? Or would that be too much of a conflict of interest.
