Are you doing Daily Meetings? Is it helpful or stressful?

It seems to me chatting around that almost everybody is doing a form of a Daily Standup. We call them Dailys, Daily, Daily Meeting, Daily Standup, Daily Catchup ...Whats your opinion on this? Do you find them useful? Or do you find them stressful?

It depends on who is in the meeting...Meetings with competent, like minded people are usually useful.The opposite are stressful.Just like every other meeting.

The only part of the daily rituals I like are seeing the people I work with face to face (in zoom). It builds good working relationships and trust!I don't like verbalizing the work round-robin style, feels like a bit of a waste of time when we could just Slack it.

It depends on who is in the meeting...
