Learning accessibility on the web as a developer/designer

I have been tasked with gathering resources to teach my fellow developers and designers in my company to learn more about accessibility on the internet, for example how to optimize for screen-readers, offering options for people with visual disabilities and similar. What resources did you use to learn more about this topic? Anything from books to websites to courses would be greatly appreciated

If accessibility is important, hire a consultant to conduct a training because a days worth of an an experienced expert's advice is worth years of paying the dumb tax and embedding poor practices as standard.

If there's not a line item for training in the budget, management doesn't care, and no matter how much you care management still won't.

good luck.
