SendGrid keeps rejecting me for a new account. Any advice?

Greetings!

I'm working on a new side project that involves sending emails to registered users. I've used SendGrid at work at generally had a very good experience with their product. But when I tried signing up for a new SendGrid account, my account got suspended almost immediately (didn't even complete the signup process).

I tried again with some slightly different information (still all accurate), and still got suspended, but also got an email from SendGrid Support asking for info about myself and my business. I sent them the answers back. The next day I got a response saying that I was still rejected and they (Support) couldn't tell me why. Here's the email...

Hello Chris,

Thanks for reaching out.

Twilio SendGrid leverages many different vetting techniques and as such, we will not be able to activate your account.

Our system does not provide myself or other members of Support with details regarding decisions made in the sign-up process. As such, we are not able to provide any more information to you.

We apologize for this inconvenience.

Best Regards,

Twilio Consumer Trust Team

I get that SendGrid must be in a constant battle with spammers and I appreciate that they don't want to disclose too much about their vetting process. Has anyone else run into this problem? Is there anything I should try to get past their vetting?

Thanks!

They've your ip, email, payment info and browser fingerprint. Change all of them and you'll bypass their detection.

Also, with so many good aternatives, why stick with a company that treats you like this?!

Might want to try out PostMark or AWS SES instead.
