Am I the only one who is trying to love Homeassistant but fails?

I think it's pretty great. It doesn't care which ecosystem my stuff is from. It doesn't care if my Internet access is up. It gives me full control. It respects my privacy. It's easy to use. There's a huge community that is very helpful.

I guess it's not the shiny-est thing in the world, but I don't really care about that at all. Function > form.

If you want a thing that just works and is useful, Home Assistant is not that thing. If you want a fun tool game with marginal utility, then it's easy to fall in love with Home Assistant, and smart home stuff in general.
