Google Glass alternatives just for reading?

I want a pair of glasses that allow me to read articles, watch YouTube tutorials, and maybe even read PDFs as I do laundry, cleaning, and other house chores. I'm still pissed off at Google for shutting down their Google glass project. I've been searching for alternatives, and I found a few options, but they're all geared towards corporations, and definitely not affordable for ordinary people like me. I've been thinking about 3-D printing, my own smart glass, but the resources that I found online are too old and they don't meet the requirements that I just mentioned above. I was just wondering if you have created your own or if you know any alternatives.

There are a number of alternatives to Google Glass in the market for smart glasses. Here are a few:

1. *Vuzix Blade*: This is one of the leading competitors to Google Glass. The Vuzix Blade provides a wide range of features such as augmented reality, connectivity to your phone and voice control.

2. *Snap Spectacles*: Originally designed as a fun wearable for capturing Snapchat moments, they have evolved over the years to incorporate more augmented reality features.

3. *Epson Moverio BT-300*: These glasses are more focused on augmented reality and are often used in professional settings for tasks such as drone piloting.

4. *North Focals*: These are smart glasses that look just like a regular pair of glasses. They provide notifications, navigation, and other features, all while looking stylish.

5. *Magic Leap One*: This is an augmented reality headset rather than a pair of glasses, but it serves a similar purpose in providing digital information in the user's field of view.

6. *Microsoft HoloLens*: This is another augmented reality headset that is more focused on business and professional applications than consumer use.
