Any gamedev magazine in paper that targets teen/beginners?

Hi friends. I happened to pick up an issue of wireframe magazine and was blasted away by the contents. This is exactly what I need to gift my friend's kids!

But then I fogured out the magazine has been dead for a while. Is there anything similar? The reason for paper is because it's a gift.

I was going to tell you "there was this thing that was part of / related to raspberry pi[0], called 'wireframe' but sadly that got (un[1])deaded shortly after I heard about it last year" but I now realise I don't need to!

Even online there is a lack of relevant (magazine-style or otherwise) material. It all drifts towards "Final Fantasy XVI starter guide: 10 key tips for beginners"[2] ... it all drifts towards gaming _content_ (not to be confused with game criticism).

I have to say, though: the name 'Why now gaming' is a self-aware master stroke. Why is this now a gaming blog? Why now? Why?
