Discord broadcast keeps f'n up. Any tips?

I run the LoFi Discord community https://lofi.software and we host our monthly meetups over the Discord but we keep having having issues.

Benefits of keeping it all in discord: 1) Existing members can easily participate. 2)New meetup attendees end up joining the community. 3) For the anti-discord crowd we livestream to Youtube via OBS.

Are there any tricks to improving discord Stage perf? or is it time to move over to zoom?
