What workflow engines are suited to build tools like Shopify Flow

I am building a tool similar to Shopify flow (an automation flow which has event and actions). Does anyone know what workflow engine is used in tools like Shopify flow or other such tools? I am familiar with temporalio, but wasn't sure if there is a better alternative that's more commonly used for such tools.
