How is your experience with 5G as the main internet connection?

I'm moving to live in a different flat & I'm thinking about using a 5G-modem as the main internet connection for my daily remote work & media consumption.

At the new place the 5G connection looks strong on my iPhone (between 3-4 bars) and also it's a neighbourhood without much people/traffic.

How is your experience with a 5G connectivity setup instead of FTTH (fiber)?

Depends on which country, city, telco, etc. If your area has low population then the back-haul could quickly be the limiting factor. Telcos generally under-provision to maximize their return on capex.

AFAIK 5G is only tower to phone connection. The rest of the infrastructure determines your end-to-end speed and latency.

Signicant improvement in reliability and speed from my FTTN connection. I would not use it if I had FTTH because latency is increased even over my old FTTN connection.
