Paywalled Articles, Options for Subscription?

A lot of articles I come across HN, seem to be paywalled. I am thinking of subscribing to some of them. However, I find it hard to decide which ones to subscribe to and how to manage the subscriptions.1. I am primarily interested in tech, startups, and the happenings in this space. Are there any recommendations for publishers in this space? 2. Is there a decent unified subscriptions option? Like pay for a subscription package for x set of publishers? 3. Others ways of looking at this?

No unified way to do it. Popular sites and publishers run their own subscription service so they aren't sharing revenue. Apple News+ and Amazon have some publications available for subscription through their services.I think a lot of people who want to read a paywalled article linked from HN use archive.is to look for an archived snapshot, you can try that.
