Do free tools make more money or paid tools?

It's free, but you can also pay cash if you want. It's free but has premium options. Or starting freemium first and then converting to paid.Maybe you should totally make it paid at the very beginning.Which do you think is better?

If you want to be paid, ask for money.It is easier if you have built something people will actually pay for.It is easier if you are being paid enough to operate the business.Converting free users to paying customers requires the customers to change.People hate change.People hate paying money.Good luck.
