Are companies boycotting Reddit ads?

I presume that most of the profit for Reddit comes from ads. With the blackout their numbers should go down. I wonder did any company step out and said "We support Reddit mods and we will stop advertising on Reddit until their demands are fulfilled"?

No, businesses don't care. In fact, businesses probably prefer the official app and website because the experience is consistent and predictable. And it may be good for businesses in the long run because Reddit can show more ads and more relevant ads by unifying their users onto a single platform.

If a business does come out to support the boycott, they're probably doing it as a feel-good publicity stunt to take advantage of angry users.

We stopped. A Series B tech company. If mostly engineers are boycoting reddit, then we arent going to try and find engineers on Reddit through ads.
