Will ChatGPT have an impact on science fiction?
In particular, will depiction of AI in science fiction change to more closely match ChatGPT somehow?

Since the idea is already there in so much SciFi, I think the only thing that could be added is the many weird and wonderful ways ChatGPT messes things up. AFAIK that has never been included in such novels.
Only if the creativity and imagination of actual human writers continue to decline. Thus far, the output of these LLMs is rather banal IMO.
